Education

Eberlywoods is regularly used for educational purposes. From the 1970’s through the 1990’s, the location was used as a campsite for the local boy scout troop. In the 2000’s, Eberlywoods was used for field trips by the Saint Mary’s College Biology Club. Since 2000, it has been used by New Buffalo High School Michigan Envirothon and College Biology for ecology and forestry education field trips. It is regularly used for experiments in Agroforestry as well as Mycology while sticking to the prescribed forestry plan. Forestry products are also regularly donated for educational purposes as well.
